Local Neighborhood Pharmacy Employees Locks Themselves in Backroom After Customer Ask for Cheese

News sources in Carytown, Virginia say a late-night CVS store run got two black men in some type of cheese dispute got turned into a run-in with police after panicked store employees locked themselves in a back room and called the cops, reports WATE.

Controversy Ricky Berry, he and his roommate Philip Blackwell went to a CVS store in Carytown, Virginia in search of cheese.

 


The two men said they made several attempts to reach out to contact the store manager and personnel but were unsuccessful, spokesperson for CVS did issue a public apology and also acknowledged that the employee who called the police was being counseled and retrained.

 

Berry also recall the entire event as being apart of a horror scene in a scary movie rephrasing how he felt about the situation unfolding at hand.



“We’re being kicked out because they were scared of us and hiding,” Berry said, “He just told us that we need to leave premises or else we would be arrested for trespassing and that flipped the script on all of us. We had no idea what was going on.”

Berry stated that a police officer showed up and helped them search the store only to discover the employees hiding in a back room behind locked doors.
